The existing Fo Tan Station comprises of north and south concourses that are not connected together causing in-efficient passenger flow and inconvenience. New concourse extension decked over existing railway lines is designed to link the two concourses together with new shops and station facilities improving the commercial value and daily MTRC station operation. Curve glass roof and sky light provide pleasant natural light for good station functional environment.
