The St. John Council has been charity active in the territory since 1884 providing first aid, medical assistance and education to the public at large and the disadvantaged in particular.

 

p.k. ng & associates . with Mr. Peter P. K. Ng himself as principal architect. were commissioned to design tor a replacement for the 4-storey building which stood on the site and which was far from if adequate for the purposes of the organization. The new tower provides 15,400 sq.m. space with 36 storeys tower and 10 storeys podium which house car parking, office and a coffee shop, plus a large function hall of the 7th floor and a root terrace on top of the podium.

 

Floors 11 to 32 storeys which house a hostel to accommodate other members of the organization who visit the Hong Kong Headquarter branch formall over the world.
